I’m very happy with this result of NGC 7023 🙂
I tried the Iris Nebula a few weeks ago from my home. Just 20 minutes (13 x 90s) at 280mm without guiding. But that’s not camparable with this one…
I was very careful with the polar alignment and balance. And I had luck. I did a test shot with 180 seconds (this time I’ve from a calculation chart that I found in the net… it’s based on the declination value of the object, focal length and some other things) and was very pleased with the result 🙂
On 2-3 subs I had a very small dec-drift. But all in all I’m very impressed about the capabilities of the MGEN and the Star Adventurer. Also the Dithering is great! Almost no background noise structures anymore 🙂
Unfortunately I noticed very late the dew on the lens during the session…

Habe eine einzelne 180s Aufnahme hinzugefügt. Hoffe das hilft ein wenig. Ich staune gerade selbst ein wenig, wenn ich hier den direkten Vergleich sehe. Krass was aus 3h Material herauszuholen ist…

Wirklich Erstaunlich! Das Resultat ist Spitze!
Danke. Mir hat es damals ein Lächeln auf’s Gesicht gezaubert, als ich das gestackte Bild am Computer sah 😀 So schöne Resultate kommen fast immer zustande, wenn ich auf den Gurnigel auf 1600m fahre. Pferdekopfnebel, Orionnebel, Rosetten Nebel, M78… Ein riesiger Unterschied im Vergleich zu Balkon-Aufnahmen auf 444m bei starker Lichtverschmutzung.
Das glaub ich gerne. Wohl dem, der einen Berg in der Nähe hat! Mein nächster ist 78m ü.NN. 🙂
