The Skyatcher Star Adventurer Polar Scope illuminator unfortunatley is not usable while the L-bracket is mounted. To use it with the attached L-bracket, I customized a 25mm PVC-tube as adapter for the illuminator. This evening I focused on IC 434 – Horsehead Nebula. One of the most beautiful objects in the sky IMO. Details
For this session my goal was to catch the Great Nebula in Orion together with IC 434 (Horsehad Nebula). Details
I did a re-stacking and re-processing of the RAW files of the Pleiades with PixInsight. What a difference đ Faint cloudy structures around the Pleiades group are visible now. Details
