Finally I got my fisheye lens 🙂 The reviews are mostly very good, according the price. Hope I can shot Milkyway this night… the weather forecast predicts clear sky for 2 hours at midnight 🙂 Focal length 8mm Aperture f/3.5 No electronic connectors, all settings manual…
I tried to shot a Milkyway panorama image… but with this lens (Canon EF-S 18-55mm), forget it. Too much distortion from the lens. It is impossible to combine the images… I need a wide-angle lens 🙂
This night I shot the milkyway again. The previous shot was just for learning 😉 This time I used ISO3200 instead of ISO1600. I think 1600 is too low. I went to Weissenstein, our local mountain (about 1400m altitude). Much better seeing here 🙂
Again I shot M27 (NGC 6853). This time ISO3200. OK, I think I reached the limit of the 100D. Much noise at ISO3200… Anyway… IMO the result is better than the previous shots.
