M31 @ Gurnigel

Second shot with the Star Adventurer. Unfortunately, the moon was visible until 2.00am… but the waiting was it worth 😀 Details: M31 Andromeda

M27

Again I shot M27 (NGC 6853). This time ISO3200. OK, I think I reached the limit of the 100D. Much noise at ISO3200… Anyway… IMO the result is better than the previous shots. I see a bit more details in the nebula structure. The final image is a composition of 60 single shots each 8 seconds.   Previous […]

M57 ring nebula

Clear sky alarm! Today it was a very clear night. I tried my luck again with M57 ring nebula (NGC 6720). For the first time I can see the little red-yellow outer ring in my final composition 🙂 It’s all about exposure time! This time total 6’56” (32 x 13s). Still not enough 🙂

The weather was not so good this evening… but I catched a cloud free 1-hour window 🙂 Here is my first shot of open cluster M39 – NGC 7092.

M27 – 2nd shot

Almost clear sky tonight… My second shot of M27 nebula (NGC 6853). Exposure time per shot: 13s. I tried to make more shots like before to stack them later, but unfortunately I had to stop shooting… clouds… 🙁

M13 star cluster

My first attempt to shot M13 (NGC 6205) star cluster with the Canon EOS 100D on the Skywatcher Explorer 130P. Unfortunately with the Skywatcher 130P I can only focus an object, if I use a 2x Barlow lens to double the focal length. And because of the azimutal GoTo mount, I have to keep the exposure time low: […]
