Seriously, I’m finished with the kit lenses. They are very good for daylight photography. But in the night they come to their limits quickly.
At the moment these 3 lenses I’m using for night photography:
- Canon EF 50mm f/1.4
- Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
- Canon EF 200mm f/2.8L
Hope for some nice widefield shots 😀
Edit 2017: Unfortunately the 50mm f/1.4 is not usable wide open for AP. Strong coma! With f/3.5 and higher it becomes better and better.
