I hope you enjoyed the clear skies last night. Falera was good as well I live in Zurich but last night I made the journey to Falera for some dark skies. My equipment is pretty basic so only able to photograph ring Nebula and dumbell Nebula. I love your photos they really keep me going in this hobby. New to Switzerland and people are pretty introverted here so this hobby helps me as an auslander,

Yes, finally clear sky here. Also good forecast for the next few days. I only drive to mountains if next day is off 😉 Falera must be a good place. Any photos online? What equipment do you use?
Ah, and welcome to Switzerland! CS

Hey Karol.

Yes Ferla was beautiful I hadn’t seen the night sky filled with so many stars in years. I am just getting into astrophotography so of course I bought all the wrong equipment first. I have a celestron se6 great for visual not ideal for AP but I am having so much fun getting dots on the back of the camera. I have a Canon 7d mark ii on loan from a friend. Switzerland is great it’s not Hawaii but I am loving it. Making a astrobin acct first of the year. After I settle on my imaging set up. It was really cool to see that the equipment in Ferla was guided by the Mgen II so I was able to ask them the question I was originally gonna ask you lol that’s life huh. Thanks for the warm welcome and CS
