Even when there was a full moon, I had to check the performance of the primary mirror ring installation.
It seems to avoid the bloating of the stars very well now! But I’m not sure if there is to much tension on the primary mirror…. especially the stars in the left corners seems to have a bit coma.
These are the corners of a single sub in full resolution (I notice many hot/cold pixels on my EOS 70D after years of use… but that’s another topic):
I’d better check again the mirror holder pads and loosen the screws a little bit…
Otherwise I’m very satisfied with the result… I really like the 130PDS 🙂
